The tree opens up to reveal a dark musty passage under the city.  It
looks like there is more than meets the eye above ground.  Very little light
enters the tree.  Layers of dust coat the floor, insect-like spiders
scurrying away from you across the walls.  Stairs lead down into the
darkness beyond.  
A thorny, red-veined vine twines its way around your feet.
