There are small ledges on both sides of the tunnel, just large enough for
you to walk on.  The stream of water is flowing faster now as the tunnel
slopes downward sharply to the west.  A set of slimy, water-damaged steps on
either side of the tunnel allows you to follow the flow of sewage.  To the
south, a larger passageway intersects with this one.  
     A gas line runs along the top of the pipe here.
