The wind picks up again as you near the end of the residential section
and the boardwalk.  The docks are clearly visible through the gap between
the eastern houses, which no doubt are the place of work of many of the
inhabitants of the village.  Looking west, waves roll slowly in towards
shore, breaking into froth as they near the island beach.  
A plucky youngster defies the warnings of his fellow villagers by sitting out on the boardwalk at night.
