Room: A Jade Altar
This room is within Naulitas.
A Jade Altar - - - (-------------------------------------------------) - <---(M)---> E - - - A square cube of jade, its lower edge trimmed in turquoise coral, rests on the floor in this room. Several feet on each side, hairline cracks and small chips give the altar a feeling of great age, clearly much older than the rest of the room and village. It seems likely this altar was brought in from Atlantis, which is located not far away. It does not appear to be dedicated to any specific deity, and is likely intended to allow the mermish visitors to Naulitas to pray to whichever powers they choose. A young, red-headed human boy kneels before the altar, unintentionally dipping his shorts into the water.
