The merfolk homes in this quarter have all been constructed in a similar
fashion, with a fairly conventional, though damp, room for receiving human
visitors on top and an underwater chamber below.  Few of the merfolk here
are permanent residents, so personal items are at a minimum.  A water-filled
opening in the rear of the chamber leads to the underwater portion of the
house.
