This part of the mine has just recently been dug out, so piles of ore
rock are all over the ground, waiting for the slaves to come and carry them
off for processing.  Steep walls of the mining pit keep most trapped inside,
though one of the giants could probably scale them if they wished.  The rest
of the mine is to the north.
