North of the enclosed compound's gate are the forests of Myaar and the
various tents pitched within the shadow of the wooden palisade.  The walls
appear to have been crudely crafted from felled timber bound together by a
mixture of clay, rope, stone, and wooden pegs.  Time and weather seem to
have allowed them to become a permanent fixture of the landscape, protecting
the interior of the small trading settlement from animal attacks, as well as
making thieves easier to catch.  Passing under the main gate of the village,
a packed dirt path continues on towards the southeast.  Immediately to the
east stands a smokehouse radiating smoked hickory, salts, and other aromatic
spices, while towards the southwest a rut has been formed leading towards a
large circular orcish hut.
