On The Way to The Salamander Deity                     -      -      -

The ground here is a cooled igneous rock, with occasional bursts of
volcanic activity coming through minuscule holes in the floor and wall.  It
may even be more oppressively hot here than is usual.  A great salamander
lives at the end of this pass, closer to a dragon than a common lizard.  It
bathes in heat, enjoying the natural heat vents which populate this entire
shrine.  The salamander deity has lived dozens, if not hundreds of years,
but neither its senses nor its claws have dulled.
