The orcish legends and tales told by troll traders sometimes speak of the
salamander deity, a lizard the size of a dragon and twice as nasty.  While
dragons' existence center around treasure, knowledge and food, salamanders
are content with solitude.  When salamanders grow this large, however, their
wishes are best respected.  This salamander is not truly a deity, but a
treasure of the local shamen, visible proof of the munificence and supremacy
of Gath.  
Licking its lips and basking in the heat lies the salamander deity.
