The one true bastion of civilization on all of the Murgow Wastes, Fort
Genauras and its surrounding homesteads are a welcome sight to many
travelers and adventurers.  The fort itself is rather primitive, made
entirely of wood imported from Sigil.  The earthworks that form the wall
surrounding it are clearly hastily built, but still better than nothing. 
Newly arrived settlers and exiles from the surface mill about, trying to
start a new life here in the perpetual darkness of the underground.  
A stinking, filthy man wanders the darkness seeking shelter.
