The view from this height is quite breathtaking.  For many leagues
around, you can make out the landforms that dominate the caves.  The
perpetual twilight provided by the strange fungi on the ceiling is almost
relaxing from this vantage.  The rest of the fort and the surrounding town
can be made out below, as well as some of the more outlying buildings. 
Below is a ladder leading back down towards to the interior of the fort.
