A pole at the center of the tent supports the thick canvas draped over it
which has been tied down at four points to the ground.  Obviously meant for
a temporary living arrangement, the floor is hard dirt and there is no real
furniture.  On either side of the support beam, set parallel to each other,
are sleeping bags.  Dangling from a hook on the pole is a brass lantern
which illuminates the tent with a soft glow.
