Immaculate military issue beds line the outer wall of the barracks.  The
sheets and blanket on each bed are tucked neatly around the mattress and
comforter.  At the foot of every bed, on the hard wood floor, is a large
trunk to hold possessions.  Above the beds and trunks are bright lights
illuminating the spotless room.  The hustle of troops marching and training
just outside the barracks buzzes through the air.  
*A strict corporal does his daily rounds, inspecting the barracks.
