forming an invisible barrier.  Magical barriers like this have been raised

power within a concentrated area.  An mysterious glowing light radiates from
runes sketched all around and rises in a thin blanket towards the arched
apex.  Faint murmurs of chanting can be heard drifting in from farther along
the passage.
