Candlelight is the only source of luminance in this dark library. 
Bookshelves reach high up towards the ceiling and scattered ladders lean
against them.  Books of all types lie upon the shelves, most with thick
leather binding and unrecognizable symbols marked on their spines.  Many
items archeologists have recovered lie on long stone tables arranged between
the bookshelves, waiting to be examined and compared to the records within
the ancient texts.
