You stand before a pair of studded black iron gates marking the sole
entrance into the Tower of Riga which looms in front of you and disappears
into the clouds.  Looking closely at the ground beneath your feet you notice
that you are walking upon fragments of crushed bone.  North from here is an
entrance hallway and to the south are the mountains surrounding the tower.  
     A decaying human skull lies here.
