Entering this room is like boarding a seafaring vessel.  While shelves
and shelves of books line the walls and fill the interior space of the room,
nautical equipment fill all the spaces and gaps among them.  On this wall is
a large worn wheel of oak from a ship's helm, on that a pair of crossed oars
stained dark by moss and barnacles.  No doubt the patron of this room is a
seafarer or a descendant of one.
