All the shelves and bookcases in this room have had their edges and
corners sanded down thoroughly in anticipation of rambunctious youngsters. 
Nursery rhymes and just-so tales and bedtime stories populate the lightly
varnished oak in the room.  Of course, the same shelves contain the ever
popular "mundane tales" that tell of faraway places where people wield
science and embark on dangerous careers in a realistic setting.
