You are walking across a beautifully carved marble bridge rising over the
waters of the Cothryn River.  Four granite statues seem to guard the town
from evil, two on each end of the bridge.  Each is holding a sword and a
shield bearing the crest of the Rune Dynasty.  The western gate of Rune
rises to the west.  
A wandering minstrel is passing through this area.
A runaway child glumly loiters here.
