You are standing in front of an immense black iron fence that surrounds
the Runic Castle.  The fence extends to the west and curves off to the
north.  Evergreens dot the gently sloping countryside both behind and in
front of the fence.  The trail continues to the west, but changes to a
winding path as it follows the fence to the north.
