You are on a lazy, winding path.  Off to the west is an immense black
iron fence that surrounds the Runic Castle.  The path looks as if it once
may have been a driveway intended for light carriages, but is now heavily
overgrown with small trees, shrubs, tall grass, and weeds.  The path
continues to the north, while to the south, the path expands to a trail.  
A thorny, red-veined vine twines its way around your feet.
