You have entered a magnificent foyer which is decorated with tasteful
cherry wood.  An enormous chandelier hangs far above the room, where you can
see a grand staircase sweeping up several stories.  A beautiful Persian rug
is under your feet.  The stairs lead up to the north, and elegant hallways
run east and west.  More of the foyer is to the south.  
     A bright ball of golden light shimmers in the air.
