You are at the bottom of a grand wooden staircase, sweeping up to the
second floor.  Small niches along the east wall hold precious statues, and a
large crystal chandelier hangs directly above your head.  A coat closet is
behind the door to the west, and a bathroom is to the east.  The foyer is
back to the south.
