As you lift your foot to take another step, the hair on the back of your
neck begins to rise, and a paralyzing fear takes hold of you.  Fighting your
instinct to run, you force yourself to take yet another step.  The runes
engraved in the stone begin to writhe, and lightning and fire leap from the
very stones at you, in protest of your passing.  With every step, the flames
and lightning grow more violent.  Instinct screams to turn back, but you
press forward regardless.
