The arena of Vendredi is where the knights of Vendredi Castle gather to
settle any disputes they may have with each other.  The arena is also used
for fights to the death between criminals, something which is a form of
entertainment for the nobles of the castle.  The cold stone floor is covered
with shards of bone and shallow pools of blood, and you can smell burned
flesh from decaying corpses.
