The Mayor's office is simply furnished.  In the middle of the room is a
plain wooden desk, sanded, smoothed, and polished with care.  There are a
few chairs around the room for people to sit in while visiting the Mayor. 
Upon the Mayor's desk are letters and papers concerning the city's people
and ways of running the city smoothly.  Leading back to the east is the
hallway.  

The mayor of New Rigel sits at his desk with a dazzled look on his face.
