The rusty, moss covered, iron gate of Vendredi Castle stands before you. 
You can see the towering battlements of the castle overhead, and below you
is a sturdy wooden drawbridge.  Beneath the drawbridge is a narrow stream
which, although shallow, would be difficult to cross during a siege.
