As you enter the tower the sounds of traffic at the gate diminish,
replaced by the chatter of soldiers whiling away another uneventful day on
duty.  All manner of weapons and armor line the walls, and a stone staircase
winds around the room like a serpent.  
A horsefly buzzes around here.
An old hag shuffles along here looking for handouts.
