Mellowed, time-worn cobblestones underfoot hint at the age of Scrane
Lane.  Part of the original village, the fishermen built their houses and
shops well inland to avoid the ravages of the sea.  Even now the occasional
cottage or small shop remains, remnants of an earlier time.  Northward, you
see the glint of various weapons and to the south you see packages being
sorted to go to the various towns in the realms.
