Rough timbers are stacked with small blocks between the layers allowing
air to circulate between them, thoroughly drying the lumber.  Vents in the
roof and walls ensure a good breeze is continually removing the moist air
and bringing in fresh air to aid in the process.  After drying these timbers
will be sent to the millworks for further refining.
