Dark, dusty stairs spiral clockwise up to the top of the tower. 
Obviously not intended for touring by the general public, the inside of the
brick walls is unfinished, simply coated with the same mortar used to set
the clay blocks.  While there's nothing ornamental about these stairs
leading up into the darkness, they have been well maintained.
