Massive blades driven by a chain and gear system slice whole trunks into
rough timbers.  Oxen strain at their yokes in a room underneath the main
floor, powering the saw blades above.  The rough boards are sent to the
warehouse to dry thoroughly before going to the Millworks for the final
finish.
