The center of this formal garden is Howell Park Pond.  Large white swans
glide effortlessly across the smooth blue surface leaving faint ripples
across the pool in their wake.  Wading is strictly forbidden and the people
strolling past cast disapproving frowns in your direction making you feel
foolish standing waist-deep in the water.
