This is the first room you've seen in the academy with some attempts at
dcor and comfort.  After the spartan facility you've seen thusfar, the
modest sofa and padded chairs seem a luxury.  On the wall behind the
reception desk hangs a portrait of a rather imposing man, Tycho Witherspoon,
the founder of the school.
