The vast area of the Tellerium Amphitheater arena holds untold perils for
a warrior.  The open space gives no solace, no place to hide and the roar of
the crowd is a distraction.  To succeed a combatant must fall back upon his
training, concentrate on the opponent and not give in to fear.  The relative
safety of the backstage area lies beyond the door to the east.
