The bottom landing of the Tellerium Lighthouse is a disconcerting space. 
There are no windows, only smooth brick walls tapering up to a narrow top so
that looking upward has quite a dizzying effect.  The front door is west and
a wooden winding staircase begins its flight to the top to the east.
