Fritz was always something of an experimenter and he happened across an
interesting way of cooking food.  He filled a metal vat with hot oil and
heated it then immersed various foods into it.  While he had a few misses in
his early efforts (deep-fried honeycomb just wasn't a good idea) he also
developed some delicious recipes unlike anything most have tasted.
