This expansive wooded area was originally set aside as a wildlife refuge
for the animals that were displaced by the city's construction.  However,
the criminal element in the town quickly recognized the forest's potential,
and made it their primary base of operation.  The trees here are spaced far
enough apart to allow light to filter through their branches, but you can
see that the underbrush gets much more dense further into the woods.
