This pyramidal stairway is made from large slabs of marble, all put
together without cracks or seams and polished to a shine.  At the top of the
structure is the queen's massive throne, with a red carpet running down the
stairs and to the doorway of the room.  You can walk up to the throne to the
east, or further along the base of the platform to the northeast or
southeast.  To the north is a large wooden door.
