You are in the guards barracks.  This large room's walls are lined with
beds, some on top of one another.  The guards come here and sleep in their
own bed after a long day.  Each bed seems to have its own dresser nearby for
clothes.  A rack is on the wall, where the guards can put their weapons. 
The walls are cold and damp, which helps beat the jungle heat.  The guards
aren't too happy about having visitors in their barracks.  Maybe it isn't a
good idea for you to stay.
