It is a small, hand-held, musical instrument known as a harmonica.  The
harmonica is a short, flat, silver box a little wider than the palm of
your hand.  There are square holes along two sides of the harmonica, and
one set of those holes is slightly larger than the other.  The edge of
the harmonica on the side where the holes are smaller has been rounded
and made smoother than the other sides, indicating that this is the side
where the harmonica player should blow into the instrument.
