Cut off of a presumably-dead frost drake, this tail has been repurposed as a
lance by the sworn enemies of the dracon race, the minotaurs.  Drakes are a
bit too far removed, geneologically speaking, to really be considered to
have a stake in the battle between the two vainglorious races, but wars
always have casualties.  Even if this lance's original owner was innocent of
crimes against minotauranity, the frosty barb is useful for freezing dracons
and getting under their scales.  It's not pretty, but it is useful, and at
the end of the day that is all that matters.
