  You are walking along a brick road that runs north south along the bay.
When the tide runs high the water will sometimes crash over the small stone
barriers that hold the waves in check.  Many times pirates and other scum
can be found along this road making shady deals with the criminal element of
Templeton.

  This checkpoint is where the guards check for contraband, wanted
criminals, and other illegal things.  Otherwise there is nothing special
about it.  The gates are made from solid steel and there is a small symbol
in the center that looks like a wild boar.
