NPC: A black mage
Long Desc: A mage dressed all in black is here.

A wizened old gnome stands here hiding in the shadows.  There is a look
of complete concentration on his face as he draws some arcane symbols in the
sand and muttering something under his breath with each stroke.  Dressed
completely in black, he does not seem to notice the heat nor anything around
him as he goes about his work.
He is a gnome approximately 4'3" tall.
