This quest [32161] is called 'Monk Protection',
for Adventurers levels 35 to 250.
Lord Vendredi [Sigil] is the master in charge of this quest.
MONKS learn many spells. Some are curative, some are offensive and some
are defensive. In addition to basic MAGE spells like ARMOR and
SANCTUARY, a MONK can cast 'COMBAT BLINK,' PHALANX and
'SPELL SHIELD.' Raksann in Rune can give you the scroll for PHALANX
and then you can use your shield to block more often. Denar in New Rigel
sells the scroll for SANCTUARY, which will reduce the damage you take.
An old sage in Xaventry can sell you an ARMOR scroll. 'COMBAT
BLINK' and 'SPELL SHIELD' will be a little harder to obtain. Visit
Arball in Pirate's Cove to get more information on where to get the scroll
for 'COMBAT BLINK.' I have heard that it is located somewhere on
Beltane. Finally, head to Templeton and consult with a temple priest. The
scroll for 'SPELL SHIELD' is located somewhere in the catacombs beneath
Templeton. Upon completion of your quest, visit Arianus and learn what you
can from him regarding these spells.
