Questmaster: Lord Maldra [Maldra Keep]
This quest is called 'New Medicines', for Adventurers levels 240 to 241.
Description of New Medicines:
It seems that several inhabitants of the keep are falling victim to a
strange illness. Apparently mold spores have entered the keep and are
causing this plague. I need you to help rid the keep of this disease before
it wipes out all who reside within the keep. Word has reached me of a
traveling pharmacist who has information on this sickness He will know how
to deal with this new threat so I'd like you to go and seek these molds out,
bring their essence to the pharmacist, and take the antidote to the sick
inhabitants of the keep.
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive up
to 62 quest points, 6 practice points, 0 experience points, and 15000 gold pieces.
You have 200 minutes remaining to complete this quest.
New Medicines consists of:
Phase 1: Journey to Entrance to the Rx Fields.
East side of keep, second east as you go north from corner near bank. — Tejon
Phase 2: Defeat A yellow mold.
Go down from the Rx Fields and there are several rooms with yellow molds as you go north. Lot of dizzies here. — Tejon
Phase 3: Recover a vial of neon.
Yellow molds drop these, plus they can be purchased from the magic shop in the keep. Careful if you cast, because these are reagents and can be consumed. — Tejon
Phase 4: Journey to The Traveling Pharmacist's Tent.
Go down from the Rx Fields and go generally northward through the dizzies. — Tejon
Phase 5: Journey to Wandering Cigar Vendor.
Also north through the dizzies, see phase 4. — Tejon
Phase 6: Visit A plague victim.
In the infirmary, on the east side of the keep. Take the second west as you go north from the corner by the bank and scan about for the plague victim. Don't go all west, as that is CPK. — Tejon
