Stinkfish river is a name that is only half appropriate, fish swim in
abundance in this odorless icy brook.  The wind sweeping down from the
mountain adds to the chill of the already icy waters and cause tree limbs to
scrape out a soothing rattle.  Many small stones form the river's bed, held
firm by a mortar of dark sand.  The river is only hip deep to an elf but
move swiftly to the west, making a static position almost impossible.
