A chunky gravel grade slops down the west side of the leaking dam. 
Around its base, the surface of the water is devoid of the algae that skirts
the seawall off to the east.  The broken tail end of a large club sets
wedged in the cracks between the boulders.  The saturated wood creaks weakly
as the tide pushes and pulls on the rocks that embrace it.  The rowdy sounds
of an argument thunder through the southern treeline reminding all creatures
that this is ogre country.
