Clothing comes to life with gusts of wind sending them into slapping
spasms about the body.  The smell of the parched lake algae is carried away
momentarily and replaced with fresh pine.  Riding along the breeze are the
sounds of loud dull voices and the snap of tree trunks from the southwest. 
Almost imperceptible ripples trail the water's edge at the base of the levee
as small fish scramble ahead.
