The Mess Hall is a long room with walls of heavy logs, well chinked to
keep out the biting winds.  While otherwise uninsulated, it seems a pleasant
enough place for hungry lumberjacks to gather and eat a hot meal. 
Assistants scurry about, trying not to catch the cook's attention as they
keep the platters piled high with food.  
     A long trestle table is lined with benches.
